Former Law Enforcement Officer Sentenced To Prison For Robbing Central Coast Bank

Posted on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 2:59pm

A former Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s deputy has been sentenced to more than five years behind bars for robbing a Central Coast bank.

Bruce Valentine admitted robbing a Cambria bank last November.

Because he’s a former law enforcement officer, it’s expected the now 70 year old northern San Luis Obispo County resident will spend most of his sentence in isolation for his own safety.
