Central Coast City Announces Water Restrictions In Face Of Drought

Posted on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 3:23pm

A Central Coast city has announced that it’s limiting outdoor irrigation, and banning the use of hoses to wash down sidewalks and driveways as a result of the drought.

Pismo Beach officials say that the city has an ample water supply, but in response to the Governor’s call for conservation, they are declaring moderately restricted water supply conditions in the city.

The restrictions include a ban on outdoor irrigation from 10 a.m., to 4 p.m. daily, the prohibition of sidewalk and driveway washing, and restaurants can only put water on tables by request.
