How important is it keep a road you might use, or the park where your kids play in good shape?
Santa Barbara County voters are going to face that question in June.
It might seem like a simple thing to ask, but county officials say it has huge implications for a county budget which is already spread too thin.
KCLU’s Lance Orozco reports that because it had enough signatures to qualify for the ballot, Santa Barbara County Supervisors moved to put the controversial measure on the ballot, even though the majority of them oppose it.
