Law enforcement officers on the Central Coast say they discovered a dangerous drug manufacturing lab right across the street from a day care center.
San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s detectives say as part of an ongoing investigation, they learned about a honey oil conversion lab on the 1700 block of Farrier Court, in San Luis Obispo.
The extraction process creates a concentrated oil from marijuana plants.
Detectives say the process is dangerous, and can cause explosions.
They arrested 28 year old Michael Allen Siegfried for manufacturing a controlled substance, sale of a controlled substance, and assaulting a peace officer.
The detectives say more arrests are expected in connection with what they say was an operation shipping marijuana around the country.
