California Transportation Commission Allocates Funding For New Highway Project In Santa Barbara County

The State Transportation Commission has allocated money to improve safety on a section of Highway 101 in Santa Barbara County.

It allocated $1.1 million dollars to construct a median barrier, and shoulder rumble strips on the highway from north of Cathedral Oaks Road to south of Dos Pueblos Creek.  The Commission made $138 million dollars in new funding grants to 32 projects statewide.
