It’s Super Bowl week, and ready or not, you’re going to be saturated with everything you wanted to know, and probably many hings you don’t about the game.
But, did you know the Super Bowl was never supposed to be called the Super Bowl? And, that they couldn’t fill the stadium for the first game?
A Santa Barbara native who works for the Library of Congress perhaps ore about the sport’s history than most sportswriters.
She’s written a new book called “Football Nation-Four Hundred Years Of America’s Game.”
