A critically acclaimed series of films about love which spans nearly two decades is the latest addition to the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, with the trilogy’s two stars, and director taking part.
“Before Sunrise,” “Before Sunset,” and “Before Midnight,” will be shown together on February 9th, followed by a conversation with Ethan Hawke, Judy Delpy, and director Richard Linklater.
The film series chronicles a young man, and woman who meet on a train in Europe, and decide to spend the day together.
In the sequel, they meet again by chance, and in the final film, the story picks up with them nearly a decade into a relationship with each other.
The latest film in the series earned Judy Delpy a Golden Globe nomination for “Best Performance By An Actress in a Motion Picture.”
