Police a man wanted in connection with a fatal stabbing in Oxnard has surrendered.
Officers were called to the 2000 block of North Oxnard Boulevard at around one a.m. Saturday. They found a 24 year old man with stab wounds. Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives called an Oxnard man, identified as Oscar Valles, a suspect in the stabbing. He turned himself in to Oxnard police just after 12:30 Saturday afternoon.
They say the 43 year old Oxnard man knew the victim, and believe that a dispute between the two led to the death.
