It was a holiday themed tradition in Santa Barbara County for decades. Now, it’s celebrating it’s 10th anniversary in Ventura County.
In 2003, a historic roadside Santa near Carpinteria became homeless, but some people stepped up to provide a new home for the massive sculpture.
Since the move, it’s become much more than a photo opportunity. It’s become the catalyst for toy drives, a half marathon, and even college scholarships.
