This Week Marks 10th Anniversary Of Deadly Central Coast Earthquake

This week marks the 10th anniversary of a major earthquake on the Central Coast, which killed two people, and injured 49.

The magnitude 6.6 quake rocked the region at 11:15 a.m. on December 22nd, 2003.  Paso Robles was the hardest hit, with two women dying when the building they worked in collapsed.  In addition to the 49 injuries, some 50 buildings were destroyed, including 25 homes.  Damage was estimated at nearly $240 million dollars.
