A Central Coast woman injured in a three vehicle accident has died, and the driver of one of the other vehicles has been arrested on a DUI charge.
The CHP says Rebecca Sandoval of Lompoc was eastbound on Highway 246, near Cuesta Road when she slammed into another vehicle which was slowing down to stop at a red light at an intersection.
The force of the crash pushed the second vehicle into a third, already stopped at the traffic light.
The driver of the second vehicle, Linda Wall of Buellton, was seriously injured, and was flown to Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, where she later died.
The two people in the third vehicle were treated for minor injuries.
Sandoval could face additional charges from the crash.
