A high school in Ventura County has been placed on lockdown, after a threatening note was found on campus.
The precautionary lockdown was ordered at around 8:30 a.m. ,at Moorpark High School. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call from the school’s office, after a note from a student was found on campus. The contents of the note haven’t been released, but there was apparently some type of threat involved.
The Sheriff’s Department sent teams of officers to the campus, to conduct a classroom by classroom search. There are no reports of shots being fired, or anyone being hurt. Students are being held in classrooms, and parents are being asked to stay away from the campus, because students aren’t being released from school.
