A non-profit group has donated $200,000 to a library in Ventura County.
The Friends of the Camarillo Library made the donation to the City of Camarillo, to help the City’s library. During the last four decades, the organization has donated more than two million dollars to the Camarillo Library, for books, programs, and materials. The “Friends” group operates a used bookstore at the library, staffed by volunteers, with proceeds helping to fund the organization’s efforts.
The group also provides books to shelters, and jails in Ventura County.
