America’s Biggest Cycling Race Returns To Central Coast

America’s biggest cycling race is returning to the Central Coast.

Two San Luis Obispo County communities will be hosting the 2014 Amgen Tour of California for the very first time.  The 700 mile long race will include Cambria, and Pismo Beach as host cities.  Stage Four of the race will start in Monterey, and finish in Cambria.  Stage Five will kick off in Pismo Beach, and end in Santa Barbara.

The 2014 race will start May 11th, and finish in Thousand Oaks May 18th.  The Tour de France style event attracts some of the best professional cyclists in the world, and is broadcast live internationally.
