A major controlled burn has been planned for the Central Coast.
About 200 acres of land in Estero Bluffs State Park, north of Cayucos, will be burned later this week if conditions permit it.
The burn is planned for tomorrow, but it could take place as late as Friday.
The fire is intended to get rid of some non-native coastal scrubland, and to enhance the habitat for native species.
The burn area will extend from Geronimo Creek to Swallow Creek.
