A man called a major drug supplier by Santa Barbara Police has been arrested, after detectives say an undercover operation turned up large quantities of cocaine, methamphetamine, and cash.
Narcotics detectives say they received information two weeks ago that Hernan Lizardo Gutierrez was dealing drugs. Following an investigation, the detectives stopped the 32 year old man as he was driving on Haley Street in Santa Barbara yesterday, and say they arrested him after finding cocaine, and methamphetamine in his vehicle.
A search of Gutierrez’s home on the 100 block of North Garden Street in Ventura turned up more drugs, a gun, and $90,000 in cash. He was arrested on four charges related to drug dealing. Detectives say the Ventura man was a major Santa Barbara drug dealer.
