It happened at around 7 this morning, on Orcutt-Garey Road in the Sisquoc area.

The bus careened more than a thousand feet out of control before going over an embankment, and crashing into a fence, and tree.

The driver of the bus was seriously injured, and was pinned in the wreckage for about an hour before she could be freed.
