Thief Robbing Women During Church Services In Eastern Ventura County

Posted on Friday, October 11, 2013 12:49am

Authorities say they are looking for a brash thief who’s been stealing credit cards, and cash during church services from women in eastern Ventura County.

Ventura County Sheriff’s detectives say the thief has hit multiple times in churches in the Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, and Simi Valley areas.

The thief actually committed the crimes in the middle of services, striking while parishioners were receiving communion.

Investigators describe the suspect as a white male, in his early 20’s, with a thin build, and weighing about 160 pounds.

They say he’s around five foot eight, to five foot ten, with light brown hair.

The man used the stolen credit cards to make a number of fraudulent purchases at local stores.
