Some high school students in Ventura County will only be going to school four days all week…and not only is it okay with their school, the governor of the State of California approved it.
The governor signed SB 236, which authorizes a four day school week for Moorpark School District students enrolled in college classes.
The law provides a more flexible schedule for high school students enrolled in Moorpark College classes.
The problem is college classes are not compatible with the traditional five day high school schedule.
The Moorpark School District sponsored the legislation, which was authored by Democratic State Senator Fran Pavley of Agoura Hills.
