It could be a long weekend for firefighters in the region.
They’re on alert because Santa Ana winds are in the forecast for the next few days, which could increase the potential for brush fire problems.
Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo Counties will have a fire weather watch which go into effect tomorrow night, and last through Sunday afternoon.
Humidity could drop into the single digits this weekend, and temperatures could be 5-15 degrees above average, as the result of the weather conditions.
The winds should ease, and temperatures are expected to cool as we move into next week.
