Ventura County has worked to educate residents about how to prepare for natural disasters like earthquakes, and brush fires.
But, in what may be one of the first efforts of its kind in the nation, it’s launched an effort to teach people about nuclear preparedness…how to deal with the aftermath of a potential nuclear terrorist attack.
KCLU’s Lance Orozco reports from Ventura, where the first of a series of town hall meetings on the subject was held yesterday.
