Some Conejo Valley residents upset with plans for a new luxury home development near their homes have reached a deal with the developer, following mediation.
The deal calls for a maximum of 13 homes to be allowed in the Miller Ranch area, on nearly 30 acres of land at Upper Ranch, and Kanan Roads.
Developer KSK Investments agreed to a number of changes to the development to deal with aesthetic concerns, as well as noise, and other environmental issues during construction. The compromises include expanding buffer areas between existing, and new homes, and doing construction during a limited period of time, so the problems it causes don’t stretch out for years.
The Thousand Oaks City Council puts its review of the project on hold, to allow the homeowners, and the developer the chance to work out their issues.
