Authorities Say Drugs Were Factor In Truck Plunging Off Central Coast Cliff, Killing Driver

A toxicology report says that a man who died after his truck plunged off a cliff in San Luis Obispo County was under the influence of methamphetamine at the time.

Sean Ramirez died July 9th, when his truck plunged off a cliff at Shell Beach.

Witnesses say the truck was being drive erratically before it crashed.

The truck veered off the road at Price Street, and tumbled about 200 feet down, onto a beach.

The 33 year old Los Osos man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities now consider it to be a DUI crash.
