$12 Million Dollars In Marijuana Plants Seized In Santa Barbara County

A marijuana growing operation with some 4,000 plants has been discovered in central Santa Barbara County.

A rancher discovered the plants on his property between Buellton, and Lompoc, and reported them to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department.  Department detectives, aided by the California National Guard eradicated the plants, which had a street value of about $12 million dollars.

No arrests have been made in connection with the operation.
