A man has been found guilty of planning, and committing the murder of an Oxnard businessman.

Jeffrey Aguilar could face the death penalty after a Ventura County Superior Court jury found the 27 year old man guilty of first degree murder, and robbery for the August, 2008 killing of Gurmohinder Singh.

The businessman was shot, and robbed as he left the bank after withdrawing a large sum of money.

Five others are in various stages of prosecution for the killing.

One of them, Maria Bucio, who is Aguilar’s aunt, is serving a 25 years to life sentence after being convicted of first degree murder for masterminding the plan.
