The Simi Valley City Council continues to debate what it should do about a controversy surrounding its City Attorney.
The Council talked the situation with Majorie Baxter during a closed session last night, but didn’t take any formal action. Baxter has faced investigations over complaints to the city’s human resources department, as well as questioning over the handling of a court case settlement.
It’s the second council meeting in less than a week addressing the concerns.
Baxter has been City Attorney since last year, and has been with the city for more than three decades.
