The Simi Valley City Council is scheduled to again meet in closed session to talk about the performance of their city attorney.
Majorie Baxter has been under fire following some investigations of complaints by the city’s human resources departments, as well as for how her office handled a specific insurance settlement.
The council discussed the issues last week, and are scheduled to resume their talks tonight.
The agenda is billed as public employee performance evaluation, and potential discipline, dismissal, or release.
Baxter has worked for the city for more than two decades, and was appointed city attorney last year.
