A San Bernardino County woman has been arrested, and her two children placed in child protective custody after drug task force investigators say she tried to sell drug patches she received with her Medi-Cal benefits in Ventura County.

The Ventura County Interagency Pharmaceutical Crimes Unit arrested Adella Carrillo in Simi Valley Wednesday night.

Task force investigators say the 27 year old Fontana woman was trying to sell Fentanyl patches.  The drug is commonly used for pain relief.

Carrillo had her seven year old, and seven month daughter with her at the time.

She’s been charged with felony sales of a prescription drug, and child endangerment, is also being investigated for Medi-Cal fraud.
