An internationally known psychotherapist who helped found, and has been president of several colleges and universities has been named interim president at a Ventura County community college.

Dr. Bernard Luskin will take over the helm of Moorpark College September 3rd, with the goal of having him serve until the appointment of a permanent president in the summer of 2014.

Luskin has written ten books, served as President of Orange Coast College, and Coastline Community Colleges in Orange County, and is considered a leading expert in the use of media for education.

He is currently CEO of Luskin International, a consulting company.

Pam Eddinger, who had been President of Moorpark College since 2008, resigned earlier this summer to take over the helm of a community college in Boston.
