The son of a Ventura County supervisor has been arrested following a 10 month long investigation, after detectives say they found he was selling prescription drugs by mail.
The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department says its drug task force received a tip last November that Peter Charles Foy II of Simi Valley was selling drugs.
In January, Los Angeles County drug investigators notified the local task force they had intercepted a large amount of money headed to the Simi Valley man via the mail from Lexington, Kentucky.
Working with Lexington Police, detectives say they determined he had been selling Oxycodone pills via the mail for a year.
He was arrested on two drug charges, as well as for burglary, and money laundering.
The 34 year old man is the son of Ventura County Supervisor Peter Foy.
