What authorities are calling a road rage incident led to a pursuit, and arrest of a Ventura County man in Santa Barbara.
It started at around 2 p.m. yesterday, when a Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s sergeant in Carpinteria reported seeing a road rage incident involving the driver of a pickup truck.
The officer tried to pull over the pickup, but it sped northbound on the 101 Freeway into Santa Barbara, until the driver got off the freeway at Mission Street.
Donald Espinosa of Oxnard finally stopped, and surrendered.
The 42 year old man was arrested on multiple charges, ranging from possession of drugs, to driving on a suspended license.
