Fire investigators are trying to determine the cause of a blaze which damaged a well known Central Coast hotel.
A fire was discovered at around 8 last night in the laundry room at the Santa Maria Inn.
The blaze triggered an automatic sprinkler, and between that, and hotel staff, the fire knocked down by the time firefighters reached the scene.
Crews were on the scene for about 90 minutes, clearing smoke and water from the facility.
No guest rooms were impacted, and no one was hurt.
