A man San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s deputies say was involved in a road rage incident in which shots were fired apparently killed himself.
It happened at about 9 last night, in Arroyo Grande.
Department officials say the driver of a car on Lopez Drive was turning onto Appy Way when a pickup truck tried to pass it using the right shoulder.
Detectives say the car’s driver then fired shots at the truck. No one was hurt.
Deputies tracked the vehicle to a home on the 100 block of Hondonada Road. The house was quickly surrounded by officers, but the man refused to surrender. They say when the man finally came out of the house about 90 minutes later, he shot and killed himself.
