A Santa Barbara County man is facing multiple charges after police say he rode a motorcycle inside of a skateboard park, endangering riders and pedestrians.
Police say John Rios rode an unlicensed off road motorcycle inside of Skater’s Point Skate Park, at Chase Pal park, in close proximity to other people. When Rios was done, he loaded the motorcycle into a pickup truck. Investigators say the 18 year old Carpinteria man then threatened a witness who was writing down his license plate number.
He was arrested for charges ranging from reckless driving, to trying to prevent a witness from reporting a crime.
