Marijuana Raids In Santa Barbara County Lead To The Seizure Of 28,000 Plants, With Street Value Of $85 Million Dollars

A series of raids have resulted in the seizure of more than 28,000 marijuana plants in Santa Barbara County, with an estimated street value of 85 million dollars.

Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department officers working with five other agencies uncovered ten marijuana operations in the Cuyama, and Figueroa Mountain areas.

Six of the growing operations were above the Davy Brown Campground/Sunset Valley Road area, near Figueroa Mountain.

Two men were arrested in conjunction with the series of raids, which took place over a week long period.
