Soil and air quality at a toxic waste site in Ventura County will be among the subjects discussed at a community meeting.
Thursday’s event is intended to update Fillmore residents on the status of the Pacific Coast Pipeline site.
The property is the former site of a oil refinery, and has been on the EPA’s Superfund Cleanup Site list for nearly a quarter of a century.
An EPA advisor is set to be on hand for the meeting sponsored by a community group.
Plans are underway to continue cleanup efforts at the site with soil, and groundwater purification programs.
The meeting is at 6:30 Thursday night, at the One Step A La Vez Center in Fillmore.
