Firefighters were able to keep a highly visible brush fire in San Luis Obispo County from spreading, limiting it to ten acres.
The fire was first reported just after 11 a.m. yesterday, outside of San Luis Obispo, at the base of Cuesta Grade.
Firefighters were able to contain it in about four hours, with the help of helicopters and air tankers. No structures were damaged. There’s no word on the cause of the fire.
