Details have been announced about the local memorial service for a Santa Barbara County man who was one of the 19 firefighters who died in an Arizona brush fire last month.

Sean Misner was a member of the Granite Mountain Hotshot Crew which died June 30th, while battling the Yarnell Hill fire, near Yarnell, Arizona.

The 26 year old man grew up in the Santa Ynez Valley, and was a Santa Ynez Valley High School graduate.

Misner came from a family of firefighters, with two uncles, a grandfather, a great grandfather, and a cousin all in the field.

He met his wife in the Valley, and they were expecting their first child.

The memorial service will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday night, at Santa Ynez High School’s football stadium.
