Posted on Monday, July 8, 2013 2:25pm

Sections of Highway 101 on the Central Coast will be closed for repairs during the overnight hours for the next two nights.

Work on a new Highway 101 overpass in Santa Maria are prompting some shutdowns.  Because of work to complete the Union Valley Parkway overpass,  the southbound 101 will be closed at Betteravia from nine tonight, until six tomorrow morning.  Then, northbound traffic will be route off the freeway in the same area from nine Wednesday night, to six Thursday morning.

The City of Paso Robles is making improvements to its 13th Street Bridge tonight, and tomorrow night.  The work will mean the full closure of the southbound 101 at the Highway 101/46 interchange from nine tonight, until five tomorrow morning.  Then, the northbound 101 will be closed in the same area from nine tomorrow night, until five Wednesday morning.

Because of the construction, traffic will be routed off of Highway 101 onto surface streets through Paso Robles while the work is underway.
