A company which supplies temporary workers has notified Ventura County that more that 160 workers based at an Oxnard facility will be losing their jobs.

In a letter to Ventura County Supervisors, Aerotek says 164 workers it employed as part of a contract with Haas Automation will lose their jobs by mid-August.  Aerotek says the workers held a variety of positions.

Aerotek says Haas notified them that as a result of a decrease in the amount of work at the company, they would need to reduce the workforce at their facility on the 2800 block of Sturgis Road, in Oxnard.
