A project to restore the landscaping at a historic Santa Barbara County ranch, which is also a living museum hit a big milestone this week.
Goleta’s Rancho La Patera, and Stow House finished the first phase of of efforts to return the property to what it looked like around a century ago.
It’s the result of several years of hard work documenting what existed on the site in the early 1900′s, and then developing a plan to recreate it.
KCLU’s Lance Orozco has the story, from Goleta.
