Ventura County Man Gets Four Year Prison Sentence After Guilty Pleas For Child Pornography Charges

Posted on Thursday, June 6, 2013 3:40pm

A Ventura County man has been sentenced to four years in prison, after entering guilty pleas to the possession, and distribution of child pornography.

After a seven month long investigation which started with a cyber tip, Danny Gregg Kennedy was arrested by Simi Valley police last November.

Ventura County prosecutors say that this week, the 62 year old man entered guilty pleas to three counts of possession of child pornography, one count of distribution of child pornography, and one count of the solicitation of the sexual assault on a child.

The Simi Valley man’s arrest led to a much broader investigation, including the discovery of other suspects in Las Vegas, the East Coast, and even in England.
