Students Banned From Graduation Ceremonies After High School Officials In Simi Valley Say The Duo Glued More Than 100 Doors Shut

Posted on Thursday, June 6, 2013 2:48pm

What some high school students in Ventura County apparently intended as a prank didn’t have school officials laughing, and has resulted in two seniors being banned from their high school commencement ceremonies.

More than 100 doors, as well as some windows were glued shut at Royal High School, in Simi Valley.

Maintenance workers spend the entire day yesterday getting the doors open, and trying to repair locks.

In addition to being banned from commencement ceremonies next week, school officials say the two seniors have also been suspended from school for the last few days of the school year.

They will also have to pay for any of the locks which can’t be repaired.
