A popular state beach on the South Coast escaped indefinite closure, when some government agencies, and the community stepped up to make some critical sewer system repairs the state couldn’t afford.
Now, a new problem has sidelined McGrath State Beach, in Ventura County.
Seasonal flooding hasn’t drained from the campground as usual, and now, officials have cancelled all reservations for the popular facility for June, and July.
