Two Men Arrested For String Of Residential Burglaries In Ventura, Los Angeles Counties

Posted on Saturday, May 25, 2013 12:40am

Two men suspected of being serial burglars in Ventura, and Los Angeles Counties are in custody after detectives say they were caught in the middle of a home invasion robbery.

Gurgen Martirosyan of Arleta, and Vigen Manukyan of Glendale are suspected of at least four residential burglaries in the Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, and Agoura Hills areas.

Ventura County Sheriff’s detectives noticed that the burglars made a large number of calls to their target homes just before they struck. They identified the two men as suspects.

Investigators say using that information, they discovered the two were targeting a Van Nuys home. They notified Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies, who caught the two men, wounding Martirosyan in the process.

Investigators recovered burglary tools, and stolen property at the homes of the men.
