America’s largest cycling competition kicked off over the weekend, and is headed to the South Coast.
The eight stage Amgen Tour Of California kicked off in Escondido yesterday, and will end in Santa Rosa next Sunday.
The race will head from Santa Clarita to Santa Barbara on Wednesday. The course will take riders through Santa Paula and Ojai, and over Casitas Pass into Santa Barbara.
Then, on Thursday, the race will start on Cabrillo Boulevard in Santa Barbara, and head over San Marcos Pass for a 116 mile leg which ends in Avila Beach.
The race is once again being televised live internationally by NBC Sports.
