A man police say was driving erratically on the Pacific Coast Highway, and swerving in front of oncoming traffic was arrested following a half hour long chase in Los Angeles, and Ventura Counties.
It started just after 1 p.m. yesterday, in Malibu. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputies say an SUV being driven by James Allen refused to stop, ran traffic lights, and drove through the center median as it headed towards Ventura County.
A spike strip was deployed in the Point Mugu area, stopping the vehicle.
Deputies say the 24 year old man refused to surrender, despite the use of a taser, but was finally tackled by a group of deputies.
He was arrested for DUI, felony evading, and resisting arrest.
