Threatening Graffiti Prompts Closure Of Simi Valley Elementary School Early

Posted on Monday, March 18, 2013 3:04pm

Threatening graffiti found on a Ventura County school campus this morning prompted school officials to close the school early.

The graffiti was found just before seven this morning, at Justin Elementary School in Simi Valley.

Simi Valley Police say because of the nature of the vandalism, school officials decided to close the campus at noon.

They notified parents of the early closure, and transferred students whose parents they couldn’t reach to Vista Elementary School for the remainder of the school day.

There’s no word on the exact nature of the threatening graffiti.
