The second of two Ventura Police officers hit by a pickup truck in a confrontation which led to its driver being shot to death by officers has been released from the hospital, and is now at home.

Nicole Gallion and Kendra Williams were both hurt in last Thursday night’s disturbance at a Ventura motel.

Officers were called to the 2100 block of Harbor Boulevard by reports of a man causing a disturbance.

As they tried to remove Clifford Park from the complex, there was a confrontation, which led to the 29 year old man getting into his pickup truck.

Details of exactly what occurred are still under investigation, but the officers were hurt, and multiple shots were fired at the truck, killing the Vancouver, Washington man.
