Parolee Arrested After Authorities Say He Threatened CHP Officer

Posted on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 12:58am

A parolee authorities say threatened a CHP officer has been arrested in Ventura County, after Ventura County County Sheriff’s investigators found he had pepper spray, and a replica of a weapon in his possession.

Christopher Cole was arrested at a home on the 3200 block of Buttercup Lane in Camarillo yesterday morning.

Investigators say they tracked him down after receiving reports he had threatened a CHP officer in Tulare County in February. Because the 25 yea old man is a convicted felon, possession of the pepper spray, and gun replica are illegal.
